Young Marble Giants--Brand New Life
Really enjoying this Young Marble Giants album, Colassal Youth and Collected Youth, got on the track because people on the internet said it sounds like the xx who NEED to get a new album out already. Spring Albums
Empire Isis- Brand New Style has some damn catchy songs that put me in a badass mood ala Santogold and MIA. I especially like 'Can't Keep My Eye off you', 'False Friend', 'Four in the Morning'...let's just say most of them. Check it.
Marnie Stern is the cutest! I saw her in concert in February at the Red Palace in DC, and she was great. I had a really great time and have been rocking out to her album ever since. She has a band now and I approve.
I just discovered Sneaker Pimps on Slacker radio which is a great alternative to Pandora if you are looking for something new.
It's chill and ambient but rock ala Blonde Redhead, Radiohead, and British 90s. Love the album Becoming X, especially '6 Underground' and 'Post Modern Sleaze.' Read More......
